City of Dis

Privacy

How City of Dis handles comments, guestbook entries, contact messages and technical anti-abuse information.

What the site collects

Most pages can be read without providing personal information. If you submit a comment, the name and message you provide may be published with the essay. An email address is optional, is not published, and is used only in connection with the submission. The comment system states that contact details and one-way anti-spam identifiers are removed automatically after 30 days.

The moderated guestbook publishes the name and message you choose to submit after review. Do not include private information in a public comment or guestbook entry.

The contact form requires an email address so the webmaster can reply. For abuse prevention and diagnosis it also records your IP address, reverse hostname where available, browser user-agent, language preference and referring page. The form states that these details and the message are visible only to the webmaster.

Cookies and third parties

City of Dis does not advertise or sell visitor data. The ordinary operation of the web server may create technical logs. Links to other sites are governed by those sites' own policies.
