City of Dis · Cosmicism without consolation

The Coherence Engine

A worldview consistency audit. It does not ask whether your beliefs are fashionable, comforting, religious, atheistic, naturalistic or cosmicist. It asks a narrower and more troublesome question: do they fit together?

How to answer: respond to each proposition as you actually believe, not as you think a coherent system ought to answer. "Undecided" is not penalised. The engine looks for tensions among commitments, not for conformity to any preferred worldview.

A high score means your answers generated relatively few strong internal tensions among the relationships this instrument tests. It is not a truth score, an intelligence score, or a ranking of worldviews.

Interpretive note

The engine detects tensions between propositions, not formal contradictions in a complete philosophical theory. Some apparent conflicts can be resolved by adding distinctions, definitions or auxiliary commitments. Treat the report as a map of places where further argument is required.
